Is paranormal entity real footage?

Do you mean the movie Paranormal Activity? No, it's not real. The production company considered reshooting the whole thing with better-known actors when they picked it up. They DID reshoot and change the ending. It's fiction.

The person who asked this is talking about a movie called Paranormal Entity, not activity. And No it's not real, if you watch the part after the sister and the mother leave to stay at a hotel, the son goes in and opens a tool box and inside is an orange piece of paper. If you look at the paper, it says it is for 2009, however the footage is supposedly from 2008.

The movie Paranormal Activity is not real. It is completely fiction. In fact, it clearly states that at the end of the movie in the credits.

The reason they filmed it documentary style is to make it seem more believable. The producers had a very very small budget, and could not afford fancy effects and graphics like Hollywood movies. So this was a good way to increase the spooky factor.

No ghost pictures is "real" in a feeling. i haven't seen Paranormal Entity, yet i know it incredibly is from "The Asylum" so as that immediately invalidates any...validity.. it incredibly is area of the "got here upon pictures" variety of movies.
