Greencard thru asylum?
I was granted greencard thru asylum. Is it ok to apply for my national passport? im not going to my country but i do need a passport to travel and refugee travel documents are too expensive. I already have my GC thru asylum.

After you get the green card it does not matter. You are totally free to fly back to your own country and spend up to a year there without any problem from the US government. You'd be shocked at how often the threats evaporate once the green card has been issued.
Yes, you are totally free to get a passport from your country if they'll issue one to you.

Yak Rider is right, which is why I told you the same thing the last time you asked. If you don't believe that answer, and you didn't before, go to a USCIS office and ask or consult an immigration attorney.
