I was granted greencard thru asylum. Is it ok to apply for my national passport? im not going to my country but i do need a passport to travel and refugee travel documents are too expensive. I already have my GC thru asylum.

They even have a video online showing me making a right on red (there were no signs saying no right on red) This is my 1st time getting such a ticket. How do i get out of it w/o having 2 pay the $124?

My application to Adjustment to Permanent Resident status i-485 was filed a year a go based on asylum. Now as i check processing times in Tx Service center its passed my processing time. i called and they filed a ticket...?? what does that mean and when will i hear from them?

I applied for a greencard a year ago based on grant of asylum a year ago. They sent me a notice of action to get my finger prints taken back in December of 07. I went and got that done. Since then i havent recieved anything.. Whats the best way to find out whats going on? I tried calling the 1800 number and the ghetto reps read off the information i can read online on the uscis website! PLEASE HELP!
