1996 grand cherokee 5.2 transmission compatibility?
My trans in my 96 5.2 is slipping and i am looking at a 94 & 95 Whole jeeps for sale-5.2 also.Will these transmissions work in my 96 with out any computer problems . I know they will bolt up to the 318 but i was not sure if it was a 96 only type.I was told there were two different types put in the 93-98's thank you

They will indeed bolt up but there is a high chance/risk for computer issues. If you take it to a qualified mechanic and have them asses the situation the mechanic may be able to suggest the best fit for your Cherokee.
