What are those really long pictures called that show a large strand of an area?

You see them taken in a lot of tourist areas that are too big to cover in one picture.

If there are many images "stitched" together to make that panoramic view, some people call them exactly that - "stitched" images.

This guy (my brother) does a decent job with this technique, especially considering that he's using an "obsolete" hundred dollar camera to do it.

You will see a number in the description of each image and that's how many individual images were stitched together to make the final image. Many are made of 6 or 8 originals.

Great, Susie! Someone always has a wreck or hits someone when they are driving in the rain. No one gets killed when holed up in a house, even though there were 40 or so bullets shot through the walls. Someone is always listening just around the corner to hear your conversation. Private airplanes are an every day commodity. Rich people never go to prison. Someone is always having a baby or thinks they are pregnant. The police cannot see the forest for the trees.
