What is a troll post?

when someone posts something totally stupid, over and over and over...

A troll is a person who post absurd/offensive questions and answers. They are found mostly in the Polls and Surveys section(http://answers.yahoo.com/dir/index;_ylt=AuaNd6A2kp... Which is the most popular section in Yahoo!Answers.). If you see a senseless question/answer, chances are it's posted by a troll. They usually sign up recently; their levels are low(Check their profiles.). When their accounts became suspended, they sign up again.

As far as I know, there are two types of trolls: perverted/immature troll and advertising troll. The first one may have a picture of nudity, offer misleading advices, or respond with illegal answers. The latter on is infrequently found anymore. Their answers are usually long and composed of advertising products such as: Nike, free movies, and pornography.

These are some of my personal experiences with trolls:

Earlier today, I saw a troll who portrays himself as a lady(I'm positive he's a guy.). He had a picture of a topless women. His answers were very erotic.

After the first incident I encountered with a troll who calls himself "Henry". His picture was a male genitalia, which was very disturbing to other users. His answers were either perverted or sophomoric.

Worst of all was yesterday when I came upon an immature troll. His photo was a person defecating.

However, there is one impressive troll. His questions and answers are not as offensive as the others'.This guy calls himself McLovin'. Unfortunate for him, his profile doesn't exist anymore, because annoyed users reported on him.(He's not so impressive after all.) My conjecture is that he will recreate a new account.

Your profile is viewable by the public. Follow the upper level users and make your profile private. Keeping it public reveals the vulnerability of being abused. To solidify my argument, upper level users had their accounts suspended and had to make additional ones because trolls unreasonably reported on them. Finally, don't add everyone simply because you are friendly. Evaluate who should be in your contact list and who should not, simply analyze their profiles.

I looked at your profile and saw that one of your contact might be a troll(*ahem* Fxck_It_i_dont_care_anymore: http://answers.yahoo.com/my/profile;_ylt=AgjALFORx... From my examination of "her" profile, I see that she is a new user(It indicates that her previous accounts were suspended.), her picture is an attractive lady(It signifies that "she" wants to provoke guys for whatever reason.), and her questions and answers are private(Trolls do it because they don't want users to read their inappropriate writings.). If you happen to know her personally, I apologize for such criticisms.

I always thought it was someone that complains a lot.

in posts/comments, just because they can.
