Need help composing an Isorhythmic piece of music.?
Does it has something to do with using the same notes and different rhythmic patterns?
any help is much appreciated!

It's the opposite of what you suggest - it's writing melodic material over a recurring RHYTHMIC motif (which doesn't necessarily coincide with the melodic phrasing). You should look-up isorhythm on the internet before tackling this and try to look at some examples of isorhythmic pieces from the middle ages (eg by Guillaume de Machaut).

the rhythm should be always the same (ISO = Same). But you should change the pitches of the melody and the harmonies!

write a melodie ,employ string skipping. after you have that down try different attacks sticcatto, legato etc
