COBRA reduction extension? Reinstate COBRA?

I cancelled my COBRA at the end of November becauase the COBRA reduction was going out of effect, but now they've extended the reduction to 15 months after you get COBRA on Dec.19. Can I reinstate my COBRA (with the reduction)?

You can attempt to re-open your COBRA account IF your payments have not lapsed at all. However, there is very, very, little chance that they will reinstate you.

Source(s): Experience. Companies HATE COBRA coverage... the only people who will pay the huge cost of the coverage are people who have health issues that are costing the insurance company lots of money anyway...

Nope. Once you cancel your Cobra, it's done.

No. You don't have COBRA anymore.
