If you purchase an iPod, like a nano, can you still use lime wire?
Or do you have to use iTunes?

iTunes will allow you to import mp3's regardless of their source (as long as they are DRM free).
You need iTunes to transfer music from the computer to the player, but you can get the music for your computer from any number of sources.
That said...you really need to ditch Limewire. There are safer, easier and more reliable ways to steal music.
If you value your computer, you will ditch Limewire. It may already be too late. I had to reformat my 3+ yr old desktop due to a massive malware problem yhat cropped up shortly after installing LW. I had Kaspersky IS, and it was no help. The irony is that the network used by Limewire fanboys isn't even all that great. I could get much better selection for audio using WinMX (which is supposedly defunct) and eMule. For video, there's no comparison - LW is just a cesspool of fake files.
You can get past peer-share programs like LW easily - just record streaming audio from Youtube and internet radio stations using audacity; or rip CD's.
