Will a external hard drive help?
My computer has EXTREMELY low disk space. I have already tried the compressing and fragmenting thing and it just doesn't clear up enough space. If I bought an external hard drive and installed it, would this help my issues? Does anyone have any tips for installing and moving things over on the hard drive?
I think it is mainly my media on iTunes that is really making things bad. How do I move that to hard drive?

yes, an external hard drive will help. It should be as simple as plugging it in. Windows will detect it, and you can start dragging files from you old hard drive to the new one. You will need to delete them from your old hard drive after they finish transferring.
You will not want to install software/programs on the external hard drive.
