How sick or ill do you have to be to not show up for work, school, church, etc?

I go to work sick, ( I will miss when I feel well)LOL

stay home from church sick,(they are my friends, I don't want to infect them)

will miss work to go fishn

would never miss church to fish!

I'm much too busy to be kept in bed. It takes something serious. I have to have a very bad fever and be too weak to lift myself out of bed for me to stay home from school, work, or rehearsals. Church however is a different story entirely... If I have some real excuse that will counteract my parents' guilt trips I'll stay home from church in a heartbeat.

well for school and or work.. you just call in sick... even if its a cold... you just have to sound congested.. they'll let you stay home because they don't want you spreading germs.... but church... there is no excuse for missing church if you sick because that's a place of healing... so if you ever told your pastor you're sick as an excuse for not coming... the pastor would just make you coming and believe in the power of healing... of tell you that's not and excuse... at least that what my pastor does...and that's what i would... unless you're in the hospital they would visit you... either way.. you can't escape your pastor!!!!

I always show up sick. I hate my co-workers. I don't want to waste a day off on feeling lousy. I call in when feeling great!

I have not worked for years, nor do I go to school and I have no religion. I am also not sick. So there ya go.

When i was at school i had to be dying for my mum to tell me stay off ha!

But now when i'm working probably just a little cold and i don't show up.

it would take a lot for my parents to let me stay home from church, especailly since my dad's kind of the pastor

well sick enough that you could give it to others or not able to get around good things like sore throats,fevers and vomiting

I'd say if you have something nasty you can pass on to others, don't go.

If you have a simple cold, go but don't mingle with other people when you risk infecting them.

If you have the flu, stay home.
