Does it bother you more when people tend to regard you as invisible or when they tend to give you far too...?

...much attention, looks and stares? Neither?

I hate being the centre of attention and always have. I always feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. I was always a shy person and shy people are generally wallflowers, so I'm used to being in the background (and happy to be too). There's a perception in this world that people must be forward and aggressive to be considered 'worthy' of notice. I'm content to live my life quietly, and if people find me strange and odd because of this, well, they're entitled to their opinion. For every yin there must be a yang, and unassuming people have a lot to offer.

Both and neither. It all depends on the mood I'm in and the person from whom I am receiving the attention (or lack thereof). If it's an older man giving me far too much attention that really creeps me out. If it's the immature people I go to school with (most of them) I prefer to remain invisible so I don't have to deal with them.

I'd probably me more uncomfortable if people stared at me. I need braces, so that already makes me a bit self-conscious. I don't need any more people staring at me or my "chicklets" (as a friend calls 'em). :B

    It depends on how,

    "hard I beat the drum"!
