AMC: Okay so why did Kendall and Zack move away?

They both had a dream while stuck in the snow on Christmas Eve about wanting a fresh start somewhere else. After all the drama with Aidan and Kendall being locked up in a room in their house they decided it was time to move on.

Alicia is on maternity leave so that keeps up her story on the show. But Thorsten Kaye decided he did not want to be far away from his family and chose to opt out of the move so who knows what the tie up story will be for him.

Greenlee? not a fan. Love Rebecca Budig but her character I could just strangle! And I am so not down with all the Greenlee love. It's so not AMC!

Thorsten Kaye (Zach) decided not to make the move to L.A. so that was his good-bye. They say that Alicia will be back after her maternity leave, but I doubt it. With a newborn baby and her husband owning restaurants in NY, I really can't see her moving or commuting. So that may be the last we'll see of both of them unless either decides to come back for a while later on or they recast.

the show is moving from NYC to LA-several actors will be retiring or leaving the show

Alicia may chose not to move either-her husband has a business in NY

They wanted to go away somewhere to forget about all of the crazy stuff that Aidan did to Kendall.

Thorston Kaye( Zach) is not moving to LA and it's doubtful that Alicia Minshew(Kendall) will move. If they return it will probably be new characters~

I have never been a big zach fan but the tears in his eyes at the end of todays show brought me to tears too.

They say she will be back but it will be many many months! Zach is choosing to leave the show and not move to LA so this is his send off.
