    Great question dear Sister,

I would have to say, not "just hopeful", but most certainly EXPECTING!

"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which SHALL BE REVEALED IN US. For the EARNEST EXPECTATION of the creature (Creation itself) WAITS for the MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS of GOD. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because THE CREATURE ITSELF ALSO shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption INTO THE GLORIOUS LIBERTY OF THE CHILDREN OF GOD. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For WE ARE SAVED BY HOPE: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we WITH PATIENCE WAIT FOR IT. Likewise the Spirit also HELPS our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but THE SPIRIT HIMSELF MAKES INTERCESSION FOR US with groanings which cannot be uttered." Romans 8:18-26

    JESUS ALSO is EXPECTING... :)

Hebrews 10:12-17, "But this man (Jesus the Christ of God), after he had offered one sacrifice for sins FOR EVER, SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD; From henceforth EXPECTING till his enemies be made his footstool. For by ONE OFFERING he hath PERFECTED FOR EVER THEM THAT ARE SANCTIFIED. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and IN THEIR MINDS I WILL WRITE THEM; And their sins and iniquities WILL I REMEMBER NO MORE." ((Clean Consciences !!! )) What wonderful expectations His word of truth sets in our hearts...We also shall remember the Truth and FORGET the ERRORS as our Loving Father Does! Talk about a long term memory boost! ("in their minds I WILL Write them) "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and BRING ALL THINGS TO YOUR REMEMBRANCE, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26

Jeremiah 17:7-8, "Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and WHOSE HOPE THE LORD IS. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit."

Jeremiah 17:17, "Be not a terror unto me: THOU ART MY HOPE in the day of evil."

Psalms 62:5, "My soul, wait thou only upon God; for MY EXPECTATION IS FROM HIM."

Proverbs 11:23, "The DESIRE of the righteous is ONLY GOOD: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath." (Ouch ! ....good reason to hate wickedness now :)

Proverbs 23:17-18, "Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD ALL THE DAY LONG. For SURELY THERE IS AN END; and THINE EXPECTATION shall not be cut off."

"According to my EARNEST EXPECTATION AND MY HOPE, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also CHRIST SHALL BE MAGNIFIED in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Philippians 1:20-21

"Now THE GOD OF HOPE fill you with ALL JOY and peace in believing, that ye may ABOUND IN HOPE, THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST."

    Romans 15:13

Full of hope, and very much expecting more, so are many others expecting a sanctuary of wholeness, the switch to be thrown and the lights come on.

ALWAYS EXPECTING a Miracle. Staying hopeful keeps my Faith working. Never leaving anything to chance.

I trust in the Lord always. Even over every thing else.

He has never let me down not ever.

I could place my bible on the floor as a type and a shadow of Him supporting me.

His Word is built on the rock of Jesus.

I am bold and ready with Jesus beside me.

    Hallelujah!

    God bless,

    Camille

    Hi there Kar~n~joY !

I am just an optimistic pessimist and at times a pessimistic optimist.

Both ways ..... I know will lead to a Hope that will soon Vanish in to the Realization of Expectations Given to us ....... from our Creator.

Peace and Tranquility to your day!

".. then we will do without hope..." Aragorn after Moria.

No, I can't even get up to a Micawberish expectation that "something will turn up", though I admit the possibility.

I take, in my situation, the more Norse approach:

"Will shall be the sterner, heart the bolder, spirit the greater as our strength lessens."

I just hope to fulfil what I expect.

    Both.

When I expect what will come (goal in future) then I am hopeful (joy in the present).
