    Greed is one of the "reasons", we are in such a mess!

    Many gamble their life savings, and loose it!

    Just as corporations move over sea's,

    for more profit!

    They take the jobs away from the consumers who,

    would buy it!

    I wouldn't say "beginning". Any signs that we're seeing now have been there for a long time and deficit living for the masses is certainly nothing new. I see your point though.

    i think materialism and our own greed (not just corporate) has created deficit living for the masses. we have to have the best, newest thing (whether it be a car or cell phone) and it's gotten most americans in debt up to their eyeballs
