Why don't you allow Christ a chance?

He gave all He had for you. Poured out His soul. He wants to have a realtionship with you. His love knows no bounds. He went to the cross to pay the price of sin. He overcame the grave and lives. Allow Him into your life. Give Him a chance to prove He is the way. God is the answer. Jesus Christ is the way!

This isnt going to convince any atheists on here, first of all, because jesus doesnt even exist! So all this "He gave all He had for you. Poured out His soul. He wants to have a realtionship with you. His love knows no bounds. He went to the cross to pay the price of sin. He overcame the grave and lives. Allow Him into your life. Give Him a chance to prove He is the way" is useless because he doesnt exist in the first place!

I dont have enough faith to be an atheist in the same way atheists dont have enough faith to be a christian!

  • The Bible is just hearsay from thousands of years ago. That is not evidence at all. The problem with hearsay is its not verifiable to any outside parties. If someone were to accept hearsay from thousands of years ago they might as well accept the Pagan or the Hindu Gods. Modern personal experiences are the same. There are all sorts of people going around saying they were abducted by aliens, or saw bigfoot. People who even say they saw God and its Allah instead. There is no way to verify their experience so its not evidence and is not something that will lead anyone to any truth.

I gave him a really good chance.....but just look at the carnage thats been done in his name, if he knew what lay ahead I don't think he would have bothered to be a Martyr....he could have avoided the Crucifixion that made him what he was.

I've found great spiritual comfort and confidence in the old ways....but only after JC was given his chance.

I do!!! And my life has never been the same ever since.

but i think many people unfortunately deny Christ because there are many people who are all about speaking the rules, the doctrine, correcting others, etc. and by the time they get to telling the story of Christ to unbelievers, they no longer want to hear it......not that every unbeliever is open to that discussion, but many people do not know that the key ingredient to being a Christian is first and foremost is a loving relationship with Jesus and everything else comes after. I had a lot of trouble with that when I was a "baby Christian", but I found a way to understand after trying so hard to survive on my own and with God's help. Thankfully there are many Christians who are compassionate enough to not judge people before they talk to them about Christ.

this was an excellent question! thank you :)

If I asked "Why don't you buy an ice cream cone? It tastes really good, and much time and effort has gone into the preparation of the ice cream, as well as the cookie-based cone all for your enjoyment. But you refuse to buy it! Why?!"...then your answer could be "I won't buy it because it has no nutritional value."

This is the concept of Christ. The idea is awesome, but it's really just an ice cream cone, not based on reality.

  • I was raised Catholic and studied up on more Theology than most Priests do in their entire lives. I gave him a chance but in the end, Jesus is absurd as Zeus, Thor, Quetzalcoatl, Amon, Ra, Santa Claus, and the Easter Bunny.

There are over 300,000,000+ people dying of starvation

There was over 500,000,000 people last century that died of the disease God created(smallpox)

There are around a 1,00,000+ people that die each year because of heart attacks, strokes, blood clots, etc

Babies are born with 2 heads, blind, deaf, with the heart outside the body, etc

    People also die of tornados,floods,etc

    deadly food

    deadly animals

    etc

and you say Jesus loves us? LOL

I did give him a chance, but I never saw evidence that it made any difference. That being the case, there is no reason to assume he exists or, if he does, that he cares. I'm not going to waste any more time with it.

God or no, Jesus had a good message. It's too bad people can't look past religion to see that.
