1-800-230-PLAN (1-800-230-7526) to find the Planned Parenthood clinic nearest you. If you are underage it will mostly likely be free. If you are over 18, it may cost but usually it's on a sliding scale, so it's something you can afford. If you are over 17 you can call any pharmacy and ask how much it is (some places it is cheaper than others).
It is not an abortion pill. Read yourself the mechanism of action the pill uses to prevent pregnancy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency_contracepti...
If nothing else loads of Vitamin C is another option for an atypical emergency contraceptive.
Vitamin C works to produce an unfavorable climate within the uterus so that the egg does not implant, or if implantation has already occurred, Vitamin C can weaken the fertilized ovum's grip on the uterine wall. Possibly by stimulating estrogen, and interfering with progesterone. This also makes it useful as an emergency contraceptive, when taken before implantation occurs on the 6th day following ovulation. The hormone, progesterone is essential for pregnancy, its function is to prepare a nourishing bed for the fertilized egg, if there is not enough progesterone the uterus becomes less supportive to the egg. Which is desirable when the goal is to end pregnancy.

You Should Be Good, But I Have Heard Of People Becoming Pregnant Anyway After Taking The Pill Within An Hour After Intercourse. Like It Says Its Not one hundred% Effective. You Should Look Into Types Of Birth Controls. Plan B Isn't Really Safe. Its Basically An Overdose Of Birth Control.

The plan B, or the morning after pill, does not cause an abortion. It's a pill a woman takes after having unprotected sex or when protection failed (ie. when condom splits) to prevent conception. It's basically like a contraceptive pill, but taken the day after sex. It shouldn't be used regularly though. You always need to use another form of contraception, and only use the plan B pill if it fails.
It depends on where you live. In the Uk you can get it over the counter but it will set you back about £25.

It's not an abortion pill. It will not kill a live fetus in your womb. Although, the amount of hormones can be harmful.
It's an overload of hormones that will make you menstruate. It's about 80% effective so this should only be used in emergency situations. It also has to be taken within the first 72 hours after intercourse to be effective.
You have to be 17 or older to buy it over the counter. Call your pharmacy for pricing.

It's not he abortion pill because you're supposed to take it before your egg is fertilized and you become pregnant or it won't do anything if you already are.
You can get it at any pharmacy. It's $50.
