Taking too many dietary supplements?

I eat a healthy diet low in saturated fats and carbohydrates and very high in protein. I take a majority of dietary supplements to ensure that I'm getting all the vitamins and minerals that I need, but I wonder if taking all these supplements could actually be harmful to my health..

Also, I take all the supplements (suggested serving size) in the morning before breakfast.

Here are the supplements I take...

Glucomannan (for weight management)

Chromium

Vitamin C

Calcium with Vitamin D3

Vitamin B-100 Complex

Omega 3 Fish Oil

Vitamin E

Multivitamin

Wow...that's a lot. If your diet is good you don't need all those. Calcium you may be getting enough of from your diet, Vitamin D3 you can get all you need for a day with just 15 minutes in the sun each day.Multivitamin you also likely don't need. Chromium is a trace element found in lots of food that you're probably eating already and you don't need much of that either.

You didn't give quantities of those.. that info would help. Most of what you over ingest won't be used by the body it will be wasted. Cut back on some of those and rely mostly on your food sources. You can get a full days supply of Vit. C just by eating one sweet potato. Natures best vege.
