Where's a good place to eat out in the Phoenix area?
I'll be in Surprise and my friend lives in Gilbert so we want something kind of in between. We need a family friendly place since we'll be bringing our babies with us.

In between Surprise and Gilbert is a HUGE area (probably at least an hour apart maybe even an hour and a half) but I like Red White and Brew in Mesa here's there website: www.azrwb.com. Also, Tempe Marketplace has many restaurants to choose from www.tempemarketplace.com. Old Town Scottsdale is also nice but a bit pricey www.scottsdaledowntown.com. Sorry, I'm from the east side of the Valley and don't venture into the west side much so the suggestions are all closer to Gilbert than Surprise but I hope that helps.

Texas roadhouse, red lobster, olive garden, chili's, theres plenty of those in between. Almost anywhere you go between there you'll find a restaurant just drive around.

Mimi's Cafe by the mall on Metro Parkway. Yum, wish I still lived there.
