$100.00 / day.
If she is 80. There isn't much to do but be very mindful of her and gentle.
Make sure she eats and is kept clean top to bottom and safe.
And be sure she knows what to do for any kind of possible emergency.
Can she drive her to a hospital?
Can she dial 911 and speak English and explain if something is wrong?
Be sure she can do this. If the woman is heavy she may need help or
she could hurt herself trying to maneuver the lady in out of bed to toilet and chair
and back to bed? Be careful...

It depends on what she's expected to do. What condition is the woman in? The more your friend has to do the more she should ask for. 24 hour care, cooking, cleaning, bathing? Dressing? Keeping track of medicine? All these things need to be considered, and how well does she know these people? If they are good friends, maybe a little less. $200-500.
