A=4n
it gives you the area of 96 square meters. So you have 96=4n
Now you take the 96 and divide it by the 4 which leaves you with 24=n

if the area is 96 the a=the area or 96 so 96=4n. So take 96 and divide it by 4 so you get 96/4=n so the answer in the end is 24=n. So you need 24 sections.

Presuming that a is the area in square meters, the answer is simply obtained by substituting 96 for a ans solving for n.
Thus 96 = 4 n, so n = 24.

um, i think the answer is 24 sectoins (sections?)
a=4n (substitute a with 96)
96=4n (divide both sides by 4)
24=n

A (area) = 4n.
Because A has to equal 96,
96 = 4n.
n = 96/ 4
n = number of sections.
That wasn't so hard, now was it?

Oh Matthew. Okay, if area is 96 meters, then n has to equal 96/4....and the spelling is "ion", not "oin".....poor kid
