Skate blade clicking?

just bought new skates and i skated on them, and after the first practice my blade made a clicking noise when i walked off of the rink. any suggestions?

    The nut that attaches the blade to the holder is loose. If that is the case, you can take them to any pro-shop and have that tightened up. It's very easy and they can do it while you wait, most pro-shops even have a special tool specifically for the Tuuk blades. It's very common and I have never seen anyone get charged for this.

    The other possible answer is a defect or something broken in the blade holder, in which case the skates should be replaced since you only used them once.

    Do not wait on this, if that nut comes off, the blade comes off entirely and most likely while you are skating. If they are broken, the more you use them, the better argument the store can make that this is not a warranty issue.

    Yeah, I get this sometimes too, with al my skates new or old. One time the blade did break loose, which i fixed easily, but it usually just clicks, I just pull the blade a little to make sure its not loose, if not I don't worry bout it

    i had that problem. my bolt fell out. in a game. six times. fix it or get new bolts that fit more snug
