Can someone help me? I am 17 and experiencing major cramps and bleeding from my bottom. Is it serious?

I haven't gotten answers so I am reposting: Over the past month or so I've lost 10 pounds without trying. People notice and yet I still don't. I get sick when I eat. Now, after I use the restroom, there's spots of a deep red blood that equal to about the size of a quarter. This is only the second time its happened but its from my bottom not my front. Last time was about two weeks ago and second time was tonight. I am not on my cycle and wasn't either time but its not when I wipe my front, only my bottom. I have pretty bad cramps, kind of like when I am on my menstrual cycle and right now I am nauseous and have lost and have loss of appetite for the last couple days. Before that I ate so much and was losing weight anyways. Now, I will start eating something and have a full feeling as soon as it starts. I don't understand what's going on with my body but I'm hurting and tired. I told my mom the last time I saw blood and it didn't phase her. Am I overreacting? Will I be okay until I can convince someone to take me to the doctor? Do I even need to go?

Update:

I was reading up on all your suggestions and I read that mucus in the stool is a symptom and this has been going on with my body for maybe over a month. Everytime I go there is a large amount of mucus and I didnt know that was abnormal either.

Update 2:

also, my little brother (age 12) has reoccuring ulcers and has since birth. i dont know if thats hereditary hes from my father and i dont know him well.

implantation bleeding which i had with my 2nd child happens two weeks after conception or right around when your period was due. its a very light type of spotting some times so little that its just pink when you wipe, although mine was a bit heavier i had to wear a pantyliner for 2 days but there is a small amount of cramping in the lower abdoman kinda in the middle which is the baby settling in the womb, i did not have this both my pregnancies though. if you have any thought that you may be pregnant you should discontinue you bcp and take a test if it has been at least 2-3 weeks since the sex incedent a hpt would be able to tell for sure. if you are preg congrats!

I don't know if you have to go just yet. There can be a few things to check out before you take that route. You can have some pinched muscles in your back putting pressure on the nerves going to your colon and that pressure can maybe the reason for the blood by one part of the colon working harder or just by being pinched. That would also make sense about what you eat, that an already irritated area is going to want to pass food right on through. It seems to support everything you are concerned about. Here is how to release those muscles in your back to find out if you are going to get any relief from that at all, plus some for the lower back which can be used all the way to the end of the tailbone, so 4 or 5 places in all:

    Back:

Place your left hand on your left knee. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine. Press on it and hold. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After about 30 seconds there should be a release happening and when it does slowly lower yourself forward onto your right leg. If you can lean over the outside edge of your leg it will be better for your release. Continue holding for a total of one minute. Then release but rest your body there for one minute longer. Then reverse and do the right side.

For lower back, on the buttocks:

Put both hands behind your back and place them on the muscles alongside your spine and press on them and hold. Now relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. When the release starts to happen, slowly lower yourself forward as far as you can go. Then release the pressure but hold your body there for one minute longer.

ok i'm answering this for you. yes you need to see a doctor. maybe an OBGYN or something. but that is all abnormal. go get a check up. if theres nothing there to worry about then there's nothing there. but if there is then at least you got it checked and then move on from there. dont freak out just yet. best of luck and if you need someone to talk to just e-mail me.

I agree with Faith. See a doctor rght away. Your mother may be not reacting because she thinks it isn't anything. But let the doctor decide.

  • sounds like fibroids.. see a doctor!
