My friend is thinking to ask 6 dollars/hour,as 24/24,because she will there in the lady's house all the day long, and my friend will take care of her needs.

My niece is a CNA home health aide.
She made $10.00 an hour to start and now is earning $13.00 an hour.
I personally think $6.00 an hour is quit cheap for 24hr care, 5 days straight.
That equals $144.00 a day
$144x5=$720.00 for that week
$8.00x24=$192
$192x5=$960.00
I personally think the $8.00 dollars an hour is better considering she is there 24/7 for 5 days straight. And your friend isn't exactly trained.(or she'd have better idea of wages earned)
Does your friend know these people?
How well can the women take care of herself?
Are there pets involved?
Etc...
If it was someone I knew asking me and with my knowledge/skill(I'm a CNA) I'd ask for a flat fee of $1000.00 for that week.I'd also keep the house spotless, interact(occupy) with the women,laundry,etc...I wouldn't have any personal time(so to speak).I would be her maid,if/when needed. And of course this is taking in account that I would be prepping all(3) meals, cleaning the house, laundry, entertainment, bathing her, changing her(if bed ridden),etc...
Holiday pay is more expensive,so I think this would be more then fair to ask being you won't be out celebrating herself.
Good luck,hope this helps.
Happy New Year :)
