How to use your ps3 controller for the first time?

Question

I bought a ps3 controller. How do you use it for the first time? Do you have to sync it to the system? Do you have to let it fully charge before it could actually be used? Because if it doesn't have to wait for it to fully charge before you can use it, my controller is apparently not working then.

You carefully place it, and the console, in the bin. And buy an xbox 360.

Press the PS button on the middle of your controller.A red light on the back of your controller should light up, telling you which player you are ( 1,2,3,or 4 ) 

If it DOESN'T work try charging it, returning it, or contacting Sony.

u have to press the ps button  ( the one on the middle of the contoller) and on the top of the controller u will se a red light, than u can use ur playstation controller and get ready to get owned on the video games
