Three questions about figuring out your sexuality?
How old were you when you realized you are not straight? How old were you when you figured out your sexuality? And looking back on it, were you in denial at any point in your life, or did you truly just not know/always know?
I was 17 when I realized I was not straight. I was confused for a long time after that. At about 19 I started to feel comfortable and confident in my sexuality. At about 20, I started to feel comfortable with the label of "bisexual."
Looking back on it, I was in denial, starting sometime in middle school.

I have always been attracted to men I am a transsexual woman I was never confused about my sexuality nor my gender identity.
Because a transsexual woman is born with a female brain and a body with male genitalia I was never gay I have always been straight.

First, Susan, ALWAYS and NEVER statements are inherently logically flawed. They call for a pre-conceived answer or agreement. They tend (not "always," "tend" - notice the difference?) to be employed by the narrow-minded or prejudiced as an attempt to influence outcomes.
And minority sexual orientations are NOT "mental disorders." Once you have a doctorate in Psychology, you can make that statement. I do. It's NOT a "proven fact," despite the lies of the Family Research Council. It's still being researched . . . and the evidence more and more points to a combination of factors, including genetics, as causative.
Meanwhile, the answers are:
1.) 13. and
2.) 13, and
3.) I came out to my parents when I was 16. And I'd felt affection for other boys since I was about six.
So I ALMOST "always" knew.
And I acted on those feelings after I was 18, when it was legal in my state. Thank the U.S. Supreme Court, it's now legal in all of them.

I was 10 or 11 when I realized i was not straight. I was 16 when I figured out that I am bisexual. Looking back on it, I was never in denial and I always knew what my interests were and that would never change. Now I am 17 and still bisexual.

Me I was maybe 12 yrs old. When this happened I knew straightaway how I am but I didn't relay understand. I remember thinking at this point about certain points in my childhood and certain moments when I started asking questions.I could never speak to my parents about this because they would of chucked me out the house. I was depressed for many years and finally I left to start my own life and I cut all contact with them. Im trans and soon Im going to start transition. For the first time in my life I feel normal and Im happy and my friends accept my better for being female and Ive got more friends.

Around 14 I realized something was different about me than the other "straight" girls. I was in denial till I was 15 and then I really started to figure it out. I kept in denial till I almost turned 16 and now I accept myself for who I am and even came out to someone. It was a long journey in my eyes but it was definitely worth it :)

I was around 14 - 15 when I realized I was having thoughts about the same sex.
Right around there, I realized I was bisexual cause I was wanting relationships with Males && Females.
Right after I realized I was bisexual, I was in denial for the longest time and finally got around to just accepting it when I was late 15, Early 16.
Now I'm gonna be 17 in January and I'm as happy as I've ever been. (:

Being a lesbian or gay doesn't mean that you won't think someone of the opposite is attractive ect. You said you knew you had an attraction to girls at ten and tried to suppress it. Your only 15 so there is no need to label yourself yet. Just stay honest to yourself and not let yourself be influenced by others.
