Was the Pentagon able to eventually track down the 2.6 trillion dollars worth of unaccounted transactions...?

It apparently happened sometime within the last 7 years or so. Oddly enough, I don't remember hearing or reading anything in the NEWS about a sum of money as monumentally huge as that. Recently I had read something about the Undersecretary of Defense and Comptroller for the U.S., a guy by the name of Zakheim, who was supposedly put in charge of locating the missing dough but nothing more was mentioned about it, as to whether even a portion of it had been located or...(?)

    I would suggest they look in a lot of senators bank accounts.. money does not disappear.. it is kept hidden in freezers etc.
