My bath tub is draining slowly. The rest of the house seems to be draining okay. Any suggestions?

Open a metal coat hanger, jam in in and start fishing out the hair. You should have enough for a hair piece. Rubber gloves would come in handy.

It is ,mostly clogged with soap scum and hair. The easiest to deal with this is to get a screwdriver and unscrew the drain cover, have a flashlight to look down into the drain, you will probably see a lot of hair and black residue, soap scum. If you aren't to sqeemish you can get most of it out by using your hand, you can use a household cleaning glove on your hand if you wish. Reach down into the drain and you should be able to pull most of the blockage out, after which run plenty of hot water down it and check with light. You should notice a difference right away, now screw your drain cover on and you should be good to go. Just remember that this will probably occur again in the future,so you should know what corrective actions to take.
