How long for itunes to charge my checking account?

I've never used anything BUT gift cards so I don't know about how long. The strange thing is that there is no tax which makes the price SEEM suspicious. What's funny is that when you get a gift card for (example) $15 and you buy $0.99 songs, you actually get 16. I guess that's how iTunes gives you a little gift. lol

It's already been charged to your card even though it may not show up in your checking account balance yet. It will show up immediately in your iTunes purchase history and you'll get an e-mail receipt within a couple of days, though that may be slower right now because of the holiday season.

It usually gives you these annoying email notifications at the end of the day when you buy something. But ur usually charged right after you buy the app. $0.99 only, no tax.
