Sliced my finernail on a knife today at work...it goes from about the center of the nail at the top to about the 4:30 position at the bottom. I don't think i sliced much (if any) into the nail bed. But i have it wrapped in a band aid at the moment. Any ideas on treatments?

Was debating getting my girlfriend a promise ring for our next anniversary but she doesn't wear jewelry, she doesn't even have her ears pierced. idk if she would make an exception and just get used to wearing it or just not wear it. im confident that she would love it however.

Just got a droid incredible today and i backed up my contacts with backup assistant and when i did so. it now put the first name of all my contacts into the last name slot as well. (ex: john john smith) idk whats causing this any solutions? please help

There 2 two slots on the front of it to add another hard drive. My question is will any internal hard drive work? or do i need to find a special one? from what i can tell there seems to just be a small piece of the back of the vacant slot that plugs into another hard drive.

I'm not sure how the copyright laws work when you photograph copyrighted material and just need some clarification.

For my graphics course I'm making a bartender guide book and printing on an offset press. My question is, am I allowed to photograph bottles of liquor and print them legally? thanks!

Been looking at purchasing a new car and taking out a loan for it. My question is how do banks figure how much they want to loan.

For example lets say I'm buying a 2001 Infiniti G20. How do they know what its worth? Do they use the bluebook value? If so do they loan the full bluebook value or only a portion of it? If so how much or a portion? Or do i tell them how much I need for the car?

For some reason the sound on my computer is acting strange...when i watch videos on youtube such as music videos the instrumentals come through very loud and i can hardly hear the singing. i've tried with multiple videos and same problem. also appears to be sending strange sounds as well...any tips?

Im using a Geforce 6800 video card and want to see if the problems my pc is having is caused by this. so i was curious as to how to revert back to the original graphic processor that came built into the computer. thank you!

Last night i was browsing the internet just going on my usual sites, facebook, myspace, etc... and when i tried to boot up WoW it froze at the main screen. To the point where i had to hit the power button.

When it booted back up i noticed the video looked strange with small red lines going across the screen on the page where it just says "Compaq". it goes to the windows xp loading screen with the little blue bar that goes across and right after that the monitor goes black. and the power button blinks.

ive tried: rolling back graphic card drivers, reupdating graphic drivers, system restore.

I can run it in VGA and safe mode. Currently in VGA mode. If i try to turn on the resolution 1 level it will black out again.

Someone please help! I've looked and cant find a conclusive solution.

For a while now whenever i get a fever or get overheated i would "sleep walk" but the thing is. I remember everywhere i go and what i do. but something in my head has my convinced that something is there that isn't.

EX: Last night i had trouble sleeping as it was hot in my room. Well at about 3 am (im assuming) i got up and was scared to death as i thought i saw giant spiders crawling all over my room. I left my room and stood in my brothers room for a few moments. (he didn't wake up)

then i went back to my room, cut on the light to check things. and went back to sleep.

am i sleep walking? ive been told im not because i can remember everything. is this true?

its like im not fully concious when this stuff happens otherwise reasoning would kick in and i would be able to realize that there really isn't anything to worry about.

why does this happen?

I have a virus on my computer that when i search google and click on the results it leads me to a completely different website usually some sort of ad.
