2010 Soccer jersey, home or away?

Paraguay will wear both the home and away jersey in different matches of WC2010.

I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like they will be the "away" team in their two biggest matches (vs. Italy and Slovakia). Your boyfriend might want to wear the same jersey than Paraguay wore in the most matches, as well as in the most crucial ones.

Now, lets look at each of the opponent's uniforms. Italy as the home team will most likely wear their traditional "Azzurri" all blue unis. Paraguay would probably wear their road whites against that, instead of the red/white stripes, but the red/white stripes is a possibility.

Slovakia as the home team throws a wrench in things. They wear white with blue sleeves as a home kit and blue with white sleeves as an away kit. If they go with the home kit, Paraguay would probably also wear their home striped kit to avoid both teams having white jerseys.

New Zealand wears an all white home uniform and all black road uniform. My guess is Paraguay will go with the home stripes in this one, and New Zealand could go either way (probably black).

I would guess the home uniform will get worn more often (at least two if not all three of the first round matches). The red/white stripes also seems to be the more traditional uniform of Paraguay, so I would guess your boyfriend would prefer that one even though you might think the away one is more stylish.

As an extra treat, why not get him a customized jersey? I'd bet he would love to have a #9 - Santa Cruz jersey or some other star player
