I agree that is just a phase. Don't worry about it. Try to suggest meat again in a week, or in 2. Babies has tastes changing from time to time. If she is breastfed, this may be one of the reasons. After you quit breastfeeding, she will start eating much better.

my son didn't like meat until just this past week. He's 10 months old. Your child is ge tting all the vitamins she needs from the formula/breast milk she should be getting. No need to ring the doc unless you still feel worried after reading everyone's answers...
Are you trying to give her puree meat or table food meat?? Mine took a strong liking to table food meat. I tried the jarred meat once - he disliked it. I started him with those cubed ham pieces that come in a package. loved those. and he's since had hamburger meat (the ones from taco bell tacos are the softest) turkey, chicken, brisket,.... just anything we eat. His shredded of course and with no teeth he still does fine.

My kids have never had meat. They are 13 and almost 5 and perfectly healthy. Look into other protein sources if you are truly concerned, but there are millions of vegetarian people in the world.

Are you using meat you cook yourself or jarred meat. The jarred meat has a smell and texture that many kids do not like.
You can also try fish (no bones), egg yolks, beans (kidney beans, chick peas, etc), lentils, and nuts. Green peas are also high in protein.

At this age, there are going to be a lot of things your little one will refuse to eat. Just keep offering it, as it often takes many times.
I would ask your doctor if you should be supplementing with vitamins for the time being.

chop it up all together real small mix with potatoes and veg in a bowl add sauce if she likes it and it shouldnt be a problem, meat is usually hidden taste wise that way. its like alot of children they dont like there vegs or they dont like meat, you just have to mask it , and when she gets old enough a small treat afterwards will get her to associate meat with something nice. if all else fails ask your doctor its no harm in asking, Good Luck
