Where might I find contour maps for the entire island of England, or shade-coded height maps of the same?

As in, black being the highest terrain, and white the lowest, or vice versa. I have found maps for, say, Greenwich, or London, but I'm looking for a map of the whole island.

The latter type is preferred, but either will work.

Update:

If I wanted colour pictures of light shades without contour lines, then, yes, I would use Google maps or images. However, I want either contour maps of the entire island, or greyscale full scale maps of the same. I also don't want a physical map with the light source to one side, I want the shade to go from top to bottom (without shadows to the side).
