Does anyone else suffer lo energy levels.....?

ctd...when they try a lo carb diet.If so how long does it take to adjust to this feeling?When I say lo carb I am eating 60g of carbs a day.I am attpe 1 diabetic on insulin pump and whi;e my bg are lower thay are not too low.

    There is no short answer for your low energy levels.

    You are a diabetic. You are on insulin. When you eat carbohydrates they enter your blood stream but you need insulin to help the carbs enter the cells where energy production and combustion takes place. These relationships are very complex and I strongly feel that you need to see your GP or your diabetic educator.

    Basically you need to balance your carb needs with the amount you need and finally your insulin dosage needs to be adjusted so that you do not become hyper or hypo glycemic. Good luck.
