What to include on a babysitting flyer?? (Parents?)?
I plan to put up flyers at my church so that i can start to babysit.
Here's what I have so far...
15 years old
Infant, child, and adult CPR and first aid training from red cross
experienced with children
Anything else??
Also, the "experienced with children" part comes from having 3 brothers and 3 sisters. All of which but 1 are younger. I have not babysat before. If you are a parent and you learned that i had not babysat before but i had "experienced with children" on my flyer, would you feel lied to??
And 1 more thing. What would you feel is a reasonable rate to charge?
(and yes i know that maybe this doesnt exactly belong in this category but i tend to post questions and not get any answers and i figured i would get a lot more parents in this section than in the advertising section.)
Thanks guys! :)

I would put 15 year old female, Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certified, (did you also take the babysitting course through the Red Cross? If so, include that.) Instead of experienced with children put older sister who has babysat for younger siblings ages ranging from blank-blank. You need to include what age groups you are willing to watch and include your rates and days and times you are available.
I would say $3 an hour would be reasonable per child.
If you're willing to babysit on holidays such as New Years Eve you could charge $5 an hour per child-always raise your rate for holidays. If you want you could give a 20% sibling discount.

hi i am a babysitter too. i am also knew to this stuff. telling parents you are experienced with children is a good way to start. CPR classes really help get you a job too. prices can be tricky though. if parents find a better price they are a lot more likely to call them. this experience actually happened to me. my prices depend on the age of the child. infants are more difficult to care for so i charge more. you should put your pricing on the flier and tell them any other information about jobs you won't take and times you are free. (this may save you from odd phone calls trust me on that one) oh one more thing. make the flier colorful. something that will catch a parent's eye. GOOD LUCK! hope this helps! (by the way i put my babysitting questions in this section too)

Be careful when setting your prices! You don't want to offer a low-ball price, then get stuck with some little monster.
I previously paid baby sitters in the following manner; for anything under three hours $20 was typical. Over three hours was normally $40 unless it was late evening when we returned and we never stuck a sitter with our kids for more than six hours. We generally insisted that the sitter "de-brief" us after each time she sat for us; we wanted her to know that we were on her side as far as the kids' behavior was concerned and that it was OK to voice any concerns. At my insistence, the sitter and I were never alone, even for a ride home and my wife and I stayed in very frequent contact with her parents. This are some things that you want to keep in mind! Don't undervalue your services and protect yourself at all times!

I would come up with some references and say "References Available". Since you haven't babysat before, you could put the names and phone numbers of a teacher, pastor, counselor, etc. Anyone who knows you well and could tell prospective parents about you (whether you are responsible, dependable, etc.)

First do no longer positioned them in the mailboxes or you may get fined by utilising the U. S.. that's a criminal to open a mailbox that isn't yours in this u . s . yet as properly that.. in case you have previous adventure positioned that on it. Take toddler and baby CPR and time-honored help and you will positioned that on it (the crimson circulate grants the two training).
