I'm having pain on my right side weeks after an appendix removal. read for more info?
On Oct. 31 2009 I had surgery to remove my appendix (laparoscope I believe). Now while this is a normal thing, I am also pregnant. During the surgery I was about 3 weeks along. Both the baby and myself had an uneventful surgery. Now weeks later I am having horrible spasming like pain where my appendix was. I see my Doctor on the 5th, but I am wondering if this is normal or should I be concerned. There is no bleeding, my scars are healing nice, I have normal pee and bms. Can anyone guess as to whats going on?

If I had to guess, I'd say that the expansion of your uterus is pulling on the scar tissue in your abdomen, causing pain. It could also be a fecal impaction (you can still pass stool with some impactions). I'm sure the doc will check you out thoroughly. Good luck!
