I am training for my first 1/2 Marathon. What should my diet consist of.?

I am running 10 minute miles for approx. 8 miles now. I am training about 5 days a week alternating with tempo runs and hills. However, I am still a little overweight. What would be the best diet that will insure that I am receiving all the important nutrients, but will still lose weight. BTW, I am have a heck of a time losing the weight, I would like to lose another 20 lbs before the race in 5 months.

EAT PASTA AND BROWN RICE THAT IS WHOLE GRAIN. GREEN VEGETABLES LIKE KALE, SPINACH, MUSTARD TURNIPS AND OTHERS LIKE CARROTS AND TOMATOES. ONLY BLANCH COOK THE VEGETABLES. STOP THE COOKING PROCESS WITH A BOWL OF ICE. EAT FOODS WITH MINERALS IN THEM. THERE ARE ONLY A HANDFUL. YOUR BODY NEEDS COPPER. IRON, ZINC, MAGNESIUM AND ALKALINE. TRUST ME. I AM NOT PULLING YOU LEG.
