Can you explain this maternity coverage to me (from our insurance plan)?

https://www2.bcbsga.com/employer/certbook/PPO4503S...

Mainly does it mean we only pay $100 ONCE for ALL maternity visits including delivery? The rest that we pay is 20% of whatever is charged?

Update:

I posted this here because it directed me here b/c I am discussing insurance!

I emailed them and it said to expect a response in 1-2 business days. Their phone system is horrible!

    "Maternity Physician Services

Global obstetrical care Copayment, first pre-natal visit only

Includes Physician care for pre-and post-natal and delivery"

Your maternity coverage is very comprehensive, which is very typical of group plans. You'll find that individual health plans are not only quite expensive, but often lacking in coverage.

My suggestion, based on 29 years of experience as a broker is to talk to a LOCAL broker with at least 20 years of experience. I'm in Ohio and although I feel comfortable in reviewing your coverage, may I suggest you contact Georgiainsuranceshop.com, which is owned by Bob Vineyard.

He's an honest experienced broker that will help. And he has a good sense of humor like me!

    I hope this helps.

Listen to the first responder. Why are you posting this question here? Call the insurance company and ask them.

Call the phone number given in the booklet and ask them to explain the coverage to you.

Don't depend on random strangers from the Internet to read an 84-page booklet and explain it properly to you.
