I just want to comment that I am impressed by you all's ( JW's ) amount of love and respect for each other. I have been hanging out in R & S for a while but I have not actually connected to anyone on that kind of personal level. I am a non-denominational Christian and I guess I sort of wrote off JW's because I believe in Jesus as my Lord and my impression is that you all don't. But I have to say that I have a new respect for you as a group because you seem to be very caring and considerate for each other in a forum that allows for so much hate and cold hearted anonymity. I am impressed. (and slightly jealous)

I am so happy to be back amongst you all again. I missed this part of my life the most while I was moving. We relocated but love the friends at our hall so much we are commuting. LOL..

To answer this question I have to tell you each day I know I have to forgive so I can be forgiven,...Matthew 6:9....

And it reminds me of an experience from an assembly....

One of the governing body in Bethel was called into a meeting by another one of the GB and the conversation was....others were present

Brother 1...why did you do sos and so? I told you not to do that.

Brother 2...I am so sorry brother I will try never to do that again.

Brother 1...Ok then lets resume with the meeting

Brother 3 talked to Brother 2 and said...I was the one that did that yet you humbly and graciously took the blame.

Brother 2 said...I am a sinnner brother and I am sure that in my life I have done many things no one has seen...I need to be reminded that we are all lowly sinners....

    Are we all that humble?

Do we forgive freely and carry the load of our brothers?

God repays in secret if we do good things in secret.

    Agape to all....huggs all around.

I just want to clarify something as I have been recently reading the 08 yearbook which has a large section on Russia discussing the Soviet Union days. Meetings will not cease, they will just be less public. Publication printing will not cease, it will just be done in private. Literature distribution and the preaching work will not cease, it will just be done more discreetly. There are few countries in which our brothers better understand that nothing can separate us from the love of God!

My favourite passage about forgiveness is found in 1 John 1:7-9. Here we read that the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son cleanses form all sin if we ask. Sinless perfection does not exist; but honesty about our need for Forgiveness opens us up to depend on God's mercy and not our own performance. If only we were as able to forgive each other as well as God forgives us.

Brother, no one has clown feet any larger than mine, as I've stepped on just about every foot I seem to come near. I've apologized so many times, sometimes I forget who I've apologized to! Yet, I know that since I don't do these things maliciously, my true Friends, and more importantly, Jehovah, have continually forgiven me these transgressions. I think Lone D. has just about covered all the possible scriptures, so I won't try to add any. And as for Lone, It's beginning to sound like he couldn't carry a grudge if it was in his pocket, much less in his memory! So, trust me, I would say it's long forgotten.

Edit: Gloria, you appear to have more insight than most people here who are not Witnesses. Those ones never admit their observations, as you have, as it would take humility on their part to acknowledge we have the world-wide love that they don't. This would require humility, as everything they say is usually an attack of some sort on the Witnesses, the Watchtower Organization or those who are interested enough to listen to what we have to say about the Bible. I, for one applaud you for your honesty! Thank you.

I"m not giving my favorite scripture but, I am going to point something out. For those who knows what's going on, my heart is full of joy this morning. I could not be more proud of being a part of a family as Jehovah God has given us. To the one who acted like a servant of Jehovah God, followed in Jesus footsteps I send you hugs, and warm *smiles* You know how proud you made Jehovah God and Jesus, don't you.

For the other brother who found humility and love that was not there before, that is a gift for Jehovah God and it was given to you. This from the heart does not come by itself. You as well have made Jehovah God and Jesus very proud.

Me? even though I am but a speck and worth nothing, I truly felt tears as I read these emails this morning/questions.

As the Bible says, you'll know my disciples by the love they have for one another. Well, there you go my dearest brothers, there you go..

Big hugs and so much joy. Always stay with Jehovah God....YSL

“133 Look! How good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1)

“9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous so as to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

“23 “If, then, you are bringing your gift to the altar and you there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar, and go away; first make your peace with your brother, and then, when you have come back, offer up your gift.” (Matthew 5:23-24)

Bases All Covered....I am "Button popping proud of BOTH of you!"

LD you take the cake for your scriptural answers. You included mine, It's Matt 6:9-15, that covers all facets of our worship & our ministry to Jehovah. I always include this, Jesus said I want [mercy] not sacrifice. We are told by Jehovah, tho your sins be scarlet, they will be made as snow. John 3:16 is another one, all enjoyable comments to read,

When I first came on this site I was Looking for fellowship that was denied me for many years and to see lone d become a lover of god has been my privilege and Honor and he asked me to forgive him because he attacked me and said he would never do it again. I am grateful to the maker of heaven and earth that I witnessed and was part of this great work that we have all participated in. That said , every Scripture about god's forgiveness is a great prize and a plethora of loving kindness, all of them are my favorite. I cannot choose to say anything else.Agape... Debbie 22 made me cry> beautiful and so true.

“For if YOU forgive men their trespasses, YOUR heavenly Father will also forgive YOU; 15 whereas if YOU do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will YOUR Father forgive YOUR trespasses."

    ~Matthew 6:14, 15~

Looks like LD has already seen and responded. :-)

Aww, see... now there's true Christianity in motion.

BIG XoXoXo's for Pestie & LD.

~Edit for Gloria~ I study the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses and I can ASSURE you that they most definitely believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God Almighty. Here is a link to one of their official website's that shows that they believe this, read it for yourself (Jehovah's Witnesses ARE Christians):

It's really nice to see that people can tell by their ACTIONS that Jehovah's Witnesses are practicing the love that marks them as being genuine followers of Jesus, just like Jesus said:

"By this all will know that YOU are MY DISCIPLES, if YOU have love AMONG YOURSELVES.”

    ~John 13:35~

    Ciao
