These things must first be done with love for Christ. Love sums up the commandments. Love is the real fuel behind being a Christian. Love makes one better able to be obedient. Christ has asked us to love Him with all our heart and soul. Not because He is arrogant .. but because He knows the heart was created to be fruitful with the hearts only nutritional food ... love.

After all .. Satan believes that Christ is the son of God. Going through these steps is symbolic of the changes in the heart. It is possible to walk through the steps you've given, but they not mean anything. You are a typical christian who wants to see these physical steps, but don't consider the things not seen ... the spirit.

How does one obtain love for God? Simply by knowing Him. To KNOW Him is to love Him. How do we know Him? It is hardly possible with all the false doctrines christians adhere to, and teach to others. Every false doctrine leads us away from God. The more you have - you eventually are worshiping more of an image of man, not God. Not knowing God is death, or separation. Knowing Him is life, or being present with Him.

If you do this, you WILL FAIL. One cannot live the Christian life by his/her own feeble human effort. Living such a life requires a relationship with Christ by His indwelling Spirit in us. It is God who provides the power to live a Godly life, not mere human effort.

By His Spirit we are changed from glory to glory.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 -- Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
