Name one religious practice from your own religion which you would like to see reformed.?

It is easy to see the good in what we have chosen, but difficult to acknowledge that there are certain practices that are wrong.

For myself, I would like to see equal status for who are today acknowledged by the Indian goverment as Dalit Christians - Christians who have to deal with culturally seggregative practices because they have converted from lower castes in Hinduism.

Is there any practice you would like to be reformed? Please give examples only from your own religion. Otherwise it defeats the purpose of the question.

Update:

Thanks for adding to my thoughts, Madhavi.

I connect it with Hinduism because of the lack of access to certain temples and it is customary to give priesthood to a person born from a certain caste. For an outsider like me, the distinction between religion and varnas is not so clear for the above reasons.

I share your abhorrence for this practice which sadly is subtly prevalent amongst Christians too, especially when it comes to issues like a marriage alliance.

i am very sorry that you think that the caste system is a religious tradition of hinduism it is a very peverted reflection of the varnashram system

i hope that the status of the converted christians improves and so called "hindus" get some sense knocked in them and realize that the caste system is no where in the indian scriptures

i am not a member of any denomination that meets on the genuine holy days of Yah (leviticus 23) because we are so scattered over the earth's surface that the distances involved to travel to assemble together are too great and the financial costs beyond our present means .

if you actually try to obey the teachings of Messiah you will find yourself ostracized by most churches /congregations/assemblies and synagogues just like as if you didn't have the mark of the beast - revelation 13

I can't think of anything because I like my religion and our traditions, rituals, etc. I would like to see Confession times to be more than just once a week for an hour. But that's a simple change, not a reform.
