Does AIM destroy your computer?

It's being manufactured by a company that's been long since passed by in the digital world, but no, it would take a very, very weak computer to get destroyed by installing/using a program. Hard disk failure because of writing over a bad sector, etc, could happen but the likelihood of that happening is as bad as with any other program or file you save to your computer.
The real danger is with visiting websites recommended via people you don't know, and accidentally installing spyware that harvests your data.

I have had AIM for 12 years, it's not destroyed my computer yet. My computer is still working fine.

i've got had objective for years and its in no way tousled my pc. in line with danger somethings merely incorrect alongside with your pc and you in basic terms occurred to acquire objective around the time your pc have been given tousled.
