Help me understand my shih tzu puppy?

I bought my puppy to young about 4 weeks ( the owner lied and said she was 8 weeks) I didnt know what an 8 week old puppy was suppose to look like. Big mistake and now I need help. She is 6 weeks now and I have been feeding her milk and every thing is fine but she gets out of her bed and sleeps in the corner. I dont understand this behavior. Ive had her since she was 4 weeks and she has not done this before. The bed is comfortable and soft ( a dog bed) does she prefer the floor instead?? when do I start crate training her?? I just want to do everything right even though her purchase was so wrong. I dont want to mistreat her in any way so what to do ?? and if thiers any other info you know about shih tzu please inform me?? thanks for your help

I have a 13 week old shih tzu that sleeps in her bed and on the floor. Depends on her mood so that shouldn't concern you. I had gotten a 5 week old shih tzu puppy a few months ago that did not have all her shots and died of parvo within 2 weeks of my bringing her home. So my most important advice is to take her to the vet to get her parvo shots and the others as soon as possible. And don't take her outside to pee or anything until she has had the full round of all shots. My 13 week old puppy actually just started to go outside today. Until now she has been going on paper and has been doing very well with this. Good luck and take good care of her. They are beautiful dogs.

I have 3 Shih Tzu's and they are the best dogs to own. My middle dog (4 y/o) starts out in bed with me then jumps down and goes in her dog bed. In the morning she may be on the floor beside my bed or out in the hallway. My 5 y/o almost always sleeps in her bed except when the wind is blowing. Then she's in bed with me too. The baby, 3 y/o, sleeps in bed with my 91 y/o Mom. I wouldn't worry about your puppy. She may get too warm in the doggy bed and prefer the coolness of the floor.
