Femur artery angioplasty?
1 AnswerHeart Diseases4 years agoMy ShihTzu has this "wart" looking growth on her back that the vet says is like acne in teens. It's about?
1/4" in diameter, raised up from the skin and oozes liquid. The vet said it's nothing to worry about but just keep the hair shaved around it, keep it clean and put polysporin on it. I'm a little concerned about it actually being a Mast cell tumor as she has one of those under the skin on her hind end that will be removed later this month. I asked the vet about removing the one on her back at the same time and he said it will probably grow back. Does anyone have any clue as to what "wart" thing really is ? ? ?
5 AnswersDogs7 years agoMy dog has to have surgery to remove/biopsy a Mast cell tumor. I'm suppose to take her in today for a CBC as?
she also has Cushings Disease. I know she had to fast for these tests in the past but this "new" vet said no Fasting. In a quandary, I phoned the vet Tech who also said No fasting. I have my doubts. I'd appreciate additional input.
4 AnswersDogs7 years agoWill my freezer and it's contents be OK if I move it to my outside shed? Our winters are cold, near/just below zero and my shed is not insul?
is not insulated. Our wind chill factors can get down to minus 20 F. The freezer is about 6 yrs old and has a good seal. Would this be a good/dumb move?

1 AnswerDesktops8 years agoCorn Gluten meal as an effective herbicide. I've read so much about this product?
and it's effectiveness against weeds, including red clover. I would like to try it as a natural product to kill red clover that has invaded my flower garden as I have dogs and would never put them in harms way with poisonous herbicides. I pulled out bags of the red clover yesterday but I'm sure there are still deep roots beneath the soil. The Corn Gluten Meal is suppose to be effective against emerging weeds but does anyone know if it will work against any roots that may still exist? Has anyone had any success with this product?

1 AnswerFacebook9 years agoKeets fighting. I have had 2 males & 1 female keet in the same cage since I got them over 6 yrs ago.?
Yesterday a.m. and again this morning, the 2 males were battling it out, so much so that I had to put one of them in a separate cage. I don't think it's a mating issue as the female hasn't laid an egg for almost a year now, but I'm not sure. Why would the 2 males suddenly go at each other with such ferocity?
4 AnswersBirds9 years agoCahing in my life insurance policy ?
I recently read in the paper that if you have a life insurance policy and if your children are independent and living on their own, then it is a smart move to cash in the policy and invest it elsewhere. I'm not talking about a lot of money, about $7,500. It is a $3,000 Family Endowment policy that I took out about 45 yrs ago when my kids were small and I have paid about $3,800 in premiums so it's not earning much in interest. In addition, I'll be paying another $1,200 in premiums until I'm 85 y/o as I'm only 70 now. Any advise ? ? ? Thanks
2 AnswersInsurance9 years agoDoes sand freeze? I recently had the concrete cut around my gas line in the driveway to allow it to move when?
the ground freezes and the concrete shifts. It is a circular space, about 6 inches in diameter around the gas pipe. My question? I was going to fill this space with sand but don't know if that's the best option. When the sand gets wet during winter, will it freeze and, thus, prevent the gas line from moving? Are there any other alternatives to sand? Thanks in advance for your responses.
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs10 years agoOdd dirt film on walls, etc?
I painted my bathroom and kitchen walls a couple of years ago and, while spring cleaning last week, discovered this odd film covering the walls. I had to scrub them and the ceiling. This morning I discovered the same very light gray film on the toilet tank and refrigerator. Any clue as to what it may be? I had a new furnace installed 3 years ago and change the filter every 2 - 3 months. I am stymied. Can anyone offer suggestions?

1 AnswerProgramming & Design1 decade agoPoisonous plants and dogs? I was just given 2 small Trumpet Vine plants, Campsis Radicans. Their flower is?
reddish/orange and eventually becomes a seed pod about 4 inches long. I have 3 Shih Tzu's and know my "middle child" may attempt to eat either the flower or the pod. Does anyone know if they are poisonous? I did check the ASPCA web site and they were not listed however they admit their site doesn't list every poisonous plant.

I always connect my HP R742 via USB port to send pictures to my computer. I connected it this morning and the computer said it didn't recognize the connection, or something like that. What happened? How do I fix this? Please don't be too technical as I'm not that computer literate. Thanks
