Small crack in glass aquarium?

Alright, I recently converted another tank to saltwater. Its a 20 long. Today I was hooking the skimmer up, and I noticed a small crack in the back left corner. I can barely feel it when I run my fingernail across it, and its only about half an inch long. So I took a sharpie, and put a dot on the glass where the end of the crack is. That way, if it goes beyond that dot, I know I have a problem.

So as it stands right now, I plan on getting another tank in the near future because I dont trust cracks. But Im wondering if anyone else had anything to add so I could maybe skip out on the new tank.

Update:

Well that makes me cry inside. At least I found it before I filled it with coral frags... Well thanks guys, Ill be getting a new one tomorrow.

my buddy has a glass shop. i had an aquarium store.

so i can tell you... that you have a problem NOW because when yer 20long blows... its gonna do it when yer sleeping ...or not home... and being glass there is NO predicting how it will...

Everyday is a risk my friend, so be careful.

U can have that panel replaced by any decent glass shop. Depending on the actual size the price will vary... but if its 20x12... then yer looking at about 30$ to fix... see yer glass guy , but do it fast man.

I wouldnt, now nonetheless, is the tank is acceptable braced ( there could desire to be a black band around the precise, approx. an inch huge, besides as a base on the backside that comes up previous the backside of the glass) im guessing it may desire to be achieveable to layer fish tank silicone on the front and the lower back of the crack, ( that's offered at any fish grant save) my hassle could be that water can produce alot of rigidity that can make the glass shatter, now all of this aside, you will get a low priced 10 or 20 gallon tank new from walmart for notably low priced.

I have never had any success fixing cracks in aquariums. My advise is to invest in another one and use this cracked aquarium for a terrarium. You might find a good used aquarium by running a want add in the local paper, sometimes that's productive.
