Should i take apart my WD Elements 1TB Hard Drive?

ive got a WD Elements 1TB Hard Drive and i want to take it apart(only if it uses IDE or SATA inside), should i? has anyone opened the case for it? it would help alot if it could be easily turned into an internal hard drive

    Most external hard drives are basic hard drives placed into an external case, so you should be able to remove the drive and insert it into the computer as a internal drive.

    General requirements Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor 2GB of memory OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended) 7GB of available space Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider; fees may apply. If all of these is available in your pc, then yes it will work. Although Windows is better than mac.
