I recently upgraded my Eris to froyo with the conap rom, which is suppost to fix issues with the battery. But it hasn't and ill take my pone to school and it'll die by noon without me even touching it. There's no service on it and its not activated. GPS Bluetooth and wifi are all off Andrew its on airplane mode. I turned off the keyboard vibrations and dimmed the screen. I also checked for running processes. There are only the manditory ones running. Buy still no fix. Right now I'm getting the phone ready for me to recalibrate the battery. If this doesn't work what other steps can I take to fix this. A 4 hour battery is completely unreasonable when the phone is only a few months old

i just installed lookout incase anyone would steal my phone.

if someone is smart enough to reset it to factory defaults would lookout still tell me where the phone is?

i just bought a zune after buying an ipod nano 6g which didnt work for me also. thought it would be simple. plug and play. i plug it in. leave it plugged in for several hours to charge. i never see any screen. i install zune software still nothing. i plug it in again and it says USB device is not recognized. device manager says unknown APX device. zune software doesnt recognize anything at all. this is very frustrating im having the worst luck ever. anyone know a way to fix this ive tried resetting it many times and nothing..

i used to have a netgear router. so i was bored and i decided to swap with my friends wireless router. everything works fine but now im getting slower internet. with my old router my ip was different than the one i have now.

the thing is with my old router i got 8megabits: ip:74.199.102.XX

with the new router i get 3mbits: ip something else

both had dhcp

so since i remembered my old ip i disabled it and entered in 74.199.102.XX manually

now i have fast internet again

how did this happen?

is there a way i can find other ip addresses that have faster speeds?

my laptop has 3gb of PC2-5300

im going to remove a 1gb chip of PC2-5300 and replace it with 2gb PC2-5600 so total is 4gb

i have already done this and my laptop doesnt seem any faster. the maximum ram speed is 667mhz

why exactly does this happen? i know that max ram for win7 32bit is 3gb also

im making a fake linux terminal. i need to make the terminal start up and that requires a delay in text display somthing like

i have an e machines motherboard my friend gave me, before he gave it to me he got real mad and punctured a capacitor on it. there are like 4 or 5 capacitors, would it affect anything if i plug it into a psu and turn it on, whats the worse case scenario. are there quick fixes for this?. i do have a soldering iron some soldier and capacitors that arent rated for the motherboard. and fixes like soldering the top metal part of the capacitor back together?

ive got a WD Elements 1TB Hard Drive and i want to take it apart(only if it uses IDE or SATA inside), should i? has anyone opened the case for it? it would help alot if it could be easily turned into an internal hard drive

Hello, ive got a problem. My mom is keeping me inside and not letting me eger do anything. Lets start at the beginning. My mom didn't like my friend because his mom was always late. Then later on she said he was a bad influence and lied alot. The thing is i know that he does lie. But not as much as he used to. So now i cant hang out with him and another friendship ruined by my mom. So after that. I got a laptop an ipod touch a tv and a desktop tv that i all payed with my own money. Now she is limiting when i can use them. For my laptop she wouldn't let me use it whenever i wanted first of all. Then she wouldn't let me use it when the screen is out of her sight. She always had to be there watching me for me to use it. I hated that, later on my warranty was gone and the laptop broke. I got a new desktop computer. I wanted to use out of her sight, she wouldn't let me. Then i got a tv and ipod. Originally i was able to keep my ipod in my room, but things changed then she started calling it a portable computer and said i couldn't use it in my room on the weekdays. My tv couldn't be in my room either. Her reason for the tv was that i would be watching tv all day. That was when antenna tv signal still worked. So i decided to put the tv back in my room and got an ipod to tv cable and i plqyed music and games with the tv. Now she says i cant have the tv in my room even after there is no cable in my room or tv channels thru antenna. And also shes saying i cant use my ipod in my room at all now. now im completely broke and out of ideas. Me and my mom are always fighting. What should i do now? If you answer please have sense and dont leave 1 word answers that pisses me off

i need to run command prompt without admin rights to windows. i need to use this because i play halo games on a public computer and everything is locked halo uses an .exe extension that enables cheats like this "haloce.exe -console -devmode" into command prompt. is there any way i can use a different program to get the same reqult

I want to put my computer screen on the tv my computer has a s-video port. i want to convert that to RCA Composite. and i dont know what pin adapter i need 4 or 7. ps i dont want to pay over 10 dollars and i dont want a video converter box

each time my computer starts it boots normally until before explorer.exe loads. when explorer.exe loads it doesnt load the taskbar or icons. it only shows a window that says c:\ and it shows me the directories of drive c i have tried to end explorer and restart it but it keeps doing the same thing (showing Drive C)

p.s. i have recently tried aston (another shell for windows). i tried to uninstall it. then downloaded the restoration registry key and it seemed to work because i dont see shell swapper anymore
