Im 15 and I NEEEEED to move out please helpppp :(:(?
Ok so i have a friend and he lives in woonsocket Rhodeisland. He is having and always has been having problems with his family. He wants to move out really bad but he is only 15. he knows he needs to get his parents permission but his dad just says no. i need help from you guys please. i beg of you. i am one of his closest friends and i dont know anything about legal rights. so. if he is 15 is there any way possible he can move out? please help :(

You would have to get emancipated by a judge. You can only get emancipated for certain reasons. I don't know all of them but they're like getting married under aged, if a girl gets pregnant and has to move out, if you and your parents don't get along, etc. But there are a lot of rules you have to still fallow. You curfews by law and other stuff. I don't know a lot about it but you can look up "how to get emancipated"

He could try to speak to an attorney about legal emancipation, but that's really difficult to get done without parental consent. In order to be emancipated from his parents, he would have to prove that he was financially stable on his own, and better off in practically every way without them. If he can't he is just going to have to deal with them until he's 18.
