I'm trying to do my physics homework and I am so confused. I can"t even tell what the question is asking! If you anyone could help me I would really appreciate it. Here's the question:

3. Assuming each of the numbers in problem 2 is a distance in meters, express each measurement using the closest appropriate metric prefix.

What does that mean? I think i"m supposed to convert them but convert them to what?

Here are some of the measurements given:

If anyone knows how to do this can you show me an example and how to do it I would really appreciate it! I know how to convert. I just don"t understand the closest appropriate prefix part.

I'm going to be a senior in high school this upcoming fall. Should I start applying to colleges this summer or wait until the next school year to start. I was a sophomore last year and i'm graduating a year early so none of my friends really know anything about it and I want to get an early start because I want to apply to a lot of places. I've recently decided to change my life around and work on being a better Christian. Anyways, i really need to clean off my ipod and get rid of old songs but i want to replace them with good Christian songs. But i'm looking for songs i would still like. I need some christian bands with rock songs that are still Christian. My favorite bands used to be Paramore, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and stuff like that so if you could think of bands like that except Christian....Thanks!

I'm trying to get on this website but on my computer it won't load. The website is paramore.net. It works on any other computer except mine and even if i click on links to the website it won't work. When i try the website my computer screen turns white and it says "waiting..." I hasn't woked for like 5 months and that's the only website that gives me problems. i haven't had that problem with any other website i've been to.

Any suggestions on how i can get this website to work on my computer?

Its Friday night with nothing to do and nowhere to go! My mom and brother both went out. My friend was supposed to spend the night but then she couldn't come. To make it worse, our tv went out so i have nothing to do. What are some fun websites or just anything fun to do for a 16 year old?

I'm turning 15 in a month and my parents keep bugging me about what I want to do. I've been thinking about it a lot and I can't think of anything I really want to do. I want to do something really fun with my friends, but I don't just want to have a party (i'm not a party person). I've been trying to do some sort of activity to do with my friends, but everything we think of I don't want to do. So far we thought of going skating (didn't want to do because i've had 6 of my birthdays there), bowling (boring), movies (not fun enough), sleepover (done that for the last 4 years), going to a haunted house (too scary), going to play mini golf (boring), go kart riding (boring), having a Halloween themed party (can't do that for a complicated reason), going to a theme park (don't like rides that much). We thought of going to a concert but my favorite band (Paramore) aren't touring near my birthday, and I don't really want to go to a different concert.

So you see every time we think of something, I don't like it. I want my birthday this year to be really fun and different from my other birthdays. I would really like to go like on a trip or something, but I think that would cost too much. I live in Tennessee. So what i'm asking is are there any places that aren't too far from or in Tennessee that would be fun to go for a birthday?Or just any other fun ideas to do for a 15th birthday.

Do you think overweight girls are really unattractive? And would you date an overweight girl? And what weight would you consider overweight?

I think my house might be haunted. Some really weird things have been happening in my house. While i was asleep something unplugged the lamp at the end of my bed the cord was swinging back and forth (the lamp stays plugged in and on at all times). One night my door started to shake out of nowhere. Earlier today my friends and i went to the park and when we came back the water in my bathroom sink was on but no one was home at all. My friends and I have witnessed some figures standing in my hallway at night. Is there anyway i can find this out.

I have an extremely low self esteem. I am so shy around people. I feel like I am so ugly. I have lots of friends and they all say i'm pretty. But no matter what they say, I never believe them. I think everything about me is wrong. I feel like a freak because everyone around me can talk to people without being insecure. I never talk to anyone unless they're my friend.
