What's the difference between the taliban and muslims?

Taliban are a Radical Sunni bunch of Talibs(Sunni clerical students) in Pakistan,which SIS(Pakistani

army intelligentsia) used against northern alliance who had defeated Red Army with American-Iranian

and Saudi Support(striking truth!).The Pakis main Reason was to provide a safe route for central

Asian oil and gas and re-export it from Pakistani ports.But the plan was messed up when they

allied with bin-laden and committed awful crimes against Humanity(Bamian Buddhas,Hazare

Shiites,and the last one... 9.11).They think Shiites,Jews,Christians and even Sunnis who don't

believe in their stone age salafi doctrine are to be killed.Now they are screwing their homeland Pakistan!That's the difference!

Let's see... One blows up buildings and kills tens of thousands of people, including their own people. And the other just denies a scientific theory and is overall non-violent about it. I wonder what's the difference?

Muslims are a religious affiliation and being a taliban is a gang affiliation like belonging to the mafia.

The Taliban is generally a terrorist group.

I don't know what they person is saying up there, (97-99% of us don't do anything to stop terrorism) We can't tell people to stop being terrorists! That's like telling the Westboro baptist church to stop preaching hate!

Muslims are doing everything possible to stop terrorism.

Muslims are true Muslims by following the guidelines of Holy book which says "If you kill one human, you kill the humanity" Unlike Taliban defending their homeland and do not follow the rules that Islam set forth. Need to know more then do not hesitate to email me.

As far as I'm aware, the Taliban are a group of religious extremists. Muslims have a much more open view of the world.

Muslims follow the religion of Islam. And the Taliban is a group of thugs, who happen to be Muslims.

All Taliban are Muslims, but not all Muslims are Taliban.

Taleban are Muslim.

Taleban simply means "seeker". This word is used for Student of Islamic studies in Afghanistan. so for historical reason these students decided to take weapon against Afghan warlords in early 90s and later established an Islamic Emirates in Afghanistan.

Taleban of Afghanistan enjoys overwhelming support from Muslim world. However, Taleban of Pakistan is a different story. They are not same.
